Right of withdrawal and return for our goods.

According to the Law on Distance and Off-Premises Contracts (DAL), you have the right to withdraw when you buy from our online shop. However, there are some exceptions: for example, the right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made products.

Here are some quick questions and answers about the right of withdrawal:

When does the right of withdrawal start and how long does it last?

The right of withdrawal is valid for 14 days from the day after you receive the goods and lasts for a maximum of 30 days after purchase.

Should the so-called cooling-off period (the period during which the customer has the right to withdraw) end on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.

Return, right of withdrawal.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us that you have changed your mind within the fixed withdrawal period of 14 days, but you do not need to have sent the goods back to us - you have a further 14 days to return the goods from the date you received the return. Maximum 30 days after purchase in store.

Procedures for returns.

You send us a message to svar@nordlanddesign.se that you wish to return or cancel the purchase. The message should include an order number, the name of the buyer and the product(s) concerned.

We will then confirm the return and you will send it back to us after we have confirmed the return. In some cases, a shipping label can be sent by us for the return.

The money or new item will be returned to you after we receive the item and process the return. Usually 5 working days after receiving the item.

A return can take about 3 weeks before it is fully completed from the time you cancel the purchase.

What happens if you open the packaging/use the product?

You have the right to try out a product we send you. Please be careful not to soil or damage the product, as we may claim a deduction for any loss of value you cause by handling the goods.

  • The goods must be resellable to another customer.
  • The goods must be whole and clean, with no external influences.
  • The goods must always be returned in their original packaging.

What are our requirements for the customer?

When you as a customer contact us and want to cancel your purchase, you should present a receipt or other proof (such as a bank statement) that the product was purchased from us.

The item is faultless when returned, please attach a photo showing that the item is whole and clean when you send it to us. The photo can be sent to svar@nordlanddesign.se when you contact us for the return. It is for your own sake so that we do not have to talk about any return shipping damage.

Who pays the return shipping?

If you have regretted the purchase, it is you as a customer who is responsible for shipping back to us. It applies to the right of withdrawal (ie you have only regretted, there is no fault in the product) If there is a fault in the product, we are responsible for all shipping and returns.

Complaints

As a customer, you have the right to complain about faulty goods. In order to be able to complain about our products, the following must be met.

  • Report the fault "within a reasonable time" after you discovered the fault Maximum 30 days
  • Prove that the product has an 'original defect' = the product was already defective when you bought it.
  • Return the faulty product to Nordland Design unless otherwise agreed.
  • We will repair the product or replace it with a new one, depending on the fault being claimed.

Open purchase.

Open purchase basically means that you as a customer have the opportunity to return the item you bought from us at no extra cost except for the return shipping. You pay the shipping to us and we refund the value of the purchase.

Does not apply to goods that are personally designed for your needs, wishes or special orders and cannot be resold.

Right of substitution.

You always have the right, within 30 days of purchase in the store, to exchange your product for another that you want if it was the wrong size, color, etc. You as a customer are responsible for the return shipping to us.
